Program Description

Event Details

Please join staff from the North Branford Public Schools for an engaging and insightful discussion of key themes from The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt.

Together, we'll explore the effects of technology on today's youth, and discuss strategies for raising resilient, healthy children in the digital world.

Discussion topics include:

  • Loss of play, and impact of a phone-based childhood
  • How to work with schools, families, and communities
  • Takeaways and next steps

Although attendance is recommended for all sessions due to the sequential plan of the book study, attendance in all sessions is not required for participation.

A collaboration between the North Branford Public Libraries and the North Branford Public Schools

  • Registration for this event closes on Wednesday, April 30th @ 7PM!
