 raveling the U.S., sculpting wooden statues depicting the Native American 
 persons in each state – and then donated his work for free to that state
 . At least one statue was made for each state, including Connecticut. But,
  the Connecticut statue is no longer standing and finding information abou
 t its past, its whereabouts, its status, and its future prospects is diffi
 cult to come by. But, it has been found after quite a search.Mike Allen sp
 ecializes in bringing history to life, through his background in journalis
 m, radio broadcasting, podcasting and public speaking. Mike hosted the pod
 cast Amazing Tales About History for four years, interviewing experts on C
 onnecticut history. For 10 years, Mike was News Director at Connecticut ra
 dio station i-95 FM (WRKI-FM) before becoming Press Secretary to the Mayor
  of Danbury. During a subsequent, 25-year corporate career, he worked and 
 lived internationally, specializing in marketing and communications. Mike 
 has lived in Connecticut for more than 50 years, currently residing in Dan
 bury.
