No Easy Path: Promoting Acceptance and Harm Reduction

Participants will learn:

  • What an opioid is
  • How they interact with the body
  • Why someone uses opioids
  • What Naloxone is
  • How to identify and respond to an overdose
  • How to administer nasal Naloxone
  • Appropriate care after Naloxone is administered

We will be discussing the use of Narcan and medicated assisted treatments for recovery.
